Our guest in July 2025 was Brighton’s very own Dan Locke, who was announcing a new project from Postive Negatives. I Couldn’t Stand By explores young people’s role in violence and conflict transformation through five research-based graphic stories scripted and illustrated by Dan, focusing on five conflict-affected contexts of Algeria, Colombia, Kurdistan Region of Iraq, Iraq and Bosnia-Herzegovina.
