Our speaker at this month's event on Monday 24th August is the superb Danny Noble! Danny was nominated by editor-in-chief Andy Oliver as one of Broken Frontier's ‘Six UK Small Press Creators to Watch in 2015’; she produces the weekly strip, Monday Morning, on Tumblr, writes the odd novel or two, and is also a musician with the band The Meow Meows. You may also fondly recall her stellar performance of readings and cartoons at the Myriad Quick Strips event at Graphic Brighton last May. DO NOT MISS IT.

And, yes, it's not the last Monday in the month, as is our usual Cartoon County get-together: due to the last Monday of the month date being a Bank Holiday. As those who've been in this honourable network for a while know, we never compete with barbecues, picnics, day-trips and diy, or any of those other things long weekends are often comprised of for many of us, so we swerve those instances in the calendar whenever they happen!
